4-1-1. Available versions

MUSTIG may be used with the following Operating Systems :

MUSTIG also runs on the OROS AU32 DSP board for real time processing, and is able to control the COMPUTERBOARDS data acquisition boards.

Any MUSTIG program created with a given OS may be read and executed with other machines, as soon as the possible custom libraries are available. User external C routines should of course be recompiled on the new machine.

However, if graphical icons have been included in the front panel of some modules with the clipboard (PC), the obtained program may not be read correctly on other machines.

4-1-3. MUSTIG options

Mustig allows the user to set several options that modify the behavior of the software. These options affect the calculations, the print format, the Cut-Paste facility, etc. They may be changed using the Options command in the Edition menu.

The options set by the user are saved to the ".MUSTIG_prefs" file (MAC and UNIX), or to the "Mustig.prf" file (PC). These files are in the Mustig directory. When MUSTIG is launched, the options are automatically loaded.

Unix : The print command entered by the user with the Page Setup menu is also saved in the options file.

4-1-4. MUSTIG environment variables

PC

The MUSTIG_DIR environment variable indicates the directory in which Mustig will look for the Library and all the other necessary file.

UNIX

The MUSTIG_LIB variable allows to specify the whole name of the main Mustig library "Library.mtg". The help file "doc.mtg" will also be sought for in this directory.

The PATH variable specifies in which directory Mustig should look for the "Mustig4.cle" software protection file.

The MUSTIG_PATH variable indicates the directory in which the secondary libraries, the external routines and the data files are located.

The PSPROLOG variable gives the absolute name of the "mustig_prolog.ps" file used for printing.

In order to print results when using a UNIX operating system :

In addition to the output format and the size modification factor (see Print options), the File / Page setup menu allows to choose between two types of output :

If you choose to send the results to a printer, the command line to use must be entered in the appropriate box. By convention the "$" sign states for the current file name. For example : laserprint -d MyPrinter -PrinterOptions -f $
